Answer by schragermath(3)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5x^2-2=3x
subtract 3x from both sides and set problem equal to zero
5x^2-3x-2=0
then factor
(5x+2)(x-1)=0
5x+2=0 or x-1=0
solve for x
5x=-2 or x=1
Answer: x=-2/5 or x=1
