Question 151195: the graph of any equation of the form x = a constant yields a/an______________________line.
Answer by vleith(2983)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
plug in a couple of points
(a,0)
(a,3)
(a,-1)
Basically, the x coordinate is always a constant 'a'.
if we let a=4
then we see that we get a vertical line that goes through (4,0)
So if x=a, we have a vertical line through the point (a,0)
