Question 148584: I hope I put the this problem in the right algebra field:
It seriously have problem with this equation:
Q= 0.001744*12*h^(2/3)+ 0.00091*h^(5/3)
I must get result in form:
h=...?
I got so far:
b*x^5 + a*x^2 - Q = 0 where x=h^(1/3) and a,b are coefficients
Now, I don't know how to contiune!
Help me, please!!!!

Answer by scott8148(6628)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
set Q=0 and factor

0=(h^(2/3))(.001744*12+.00091h^(3/3))

h^(2/3)=0 __ h=0

.020928+.00091h=0 __ subtracting .020928 __ .00091h=-.020928 __ dividing by .00091 __ h=23 (approx)
