Answer by tutorcecilia(2152)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x + y = 20
So, y = 20-x
And,
.30x + .10y = (20)(.19)
.30x + .10 (20-x) = 3.8
.30x + 2 - .10x = 3.8
.30x - .10x = 3.8 - 2
.20x=1.8
x=1.8/.20
x=9 liters at 30%
So,
x+y=20
9+y=20
y=20-9
y=11 liters at 10%
