FIRST WE FIND THE SLOPE (m) =(Y2-Y1)/(X2-X1)=(-2-1)/(3-4)=-3/-1=3
NOW WE REPLACE THEX & Y TERMS IN THE LINE EQUATION [Y=mX+b] WITH ONE SET OF POINTS & SOLVE FOR THE Y INTERCEPT (b).
1=3*4+b
1=12+b
b=1-12
b=-11 THE Y INTERCEPT.
THUS THE EQUATION IS:
Y=3X-11
