Question 14193: What Is The Value Of The Variable "X"? -------> 4"X" + 3 = -5
Answer by elima(1433) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4"X" + 3 = -5
4x+3=-5
First subtract both sides by 3;
4x+3-3=-5-3
4x=-8
Now divide each side by4;
That cancels out the 4 and leaves x by itself.
x=-2
Hope you get it
=)
