We solved for x and got but it does not fit when you check it by plugging 10 in for x in the equasion.
Can you help us please? Thanks!

should be +15
should be -3x

Both errors come from not using the minus sign correctly when multiplying out the brackets.

When figuring out the equation, you forgot to carry the negative into the equation. The equation should be:
10x-3x+15=30-5-3x
Then:
7x-15=25-3x
Then:
10x=10
x=1
The value of x is equal to 1
