Well, you are going to have to step right out and try some multiplication and division to get this one done.

There are 16 ounces in a pound, so means that you will use a can of food every 2 days, or put another way, you will use of a can of food each day.

There are 7 days in a week, unless you have a dog that lets you take weekends off (yeah, right), so 7 days times 1/2 can of food per day is 7/2 cans of food per week.

As for an equation, let x be the number of ounces of food given the dog each day, and C be the number of cans of food needed for a week, then:
