Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Since the diameter is 4,000 miles, this means that the radius is 2,000 miles (just take half of 4,000)
So
Start with the volume of a sphere formula
Plug in
Cube to get
Multiply and (you can use 3.14 for pi) to get
Multiply and to get
So the volume of the sphere with a radius of 2000 miles is 33,510,321,638.2911 cubic miles
This means that volume of Mars is 33,510,321,638.2911 cubic miles
