Question 132862: Could someone show me how to find the slope and the y-intercept??

Answer by vleith(2983)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Are you familiar with y = mx + b (slope/intercept form of a line)? If so, you are one step from the answer. The only 'step' you have to take is to realize f(x) is nothing more than another way to say 'y'.
so:
slope = -7
intercept = -9 (0,-9)
