I'm not at all sure what your problem is. First off, however, you can't do anything within the parentheses, because they are NOT like terms. Do you mean:

3xy%2A%284%2B2xy%29%2A6xy%5E3+. It still doesn't look exactly like most math problems look. Do you have parentheses anywhere else in this problem that I don't have in this? If indeed this is the case, then let's multiply the 3xy+ times the 6xy%5E3to get 18%28x%5E2%29%2A%28+y%5E4%29.

Next take the 18x%5E2y%5E4 times the remaining factor +%284+%2B+2xy%29+.
18x%5E2y%5E4%284+%2B+2xy%29=+72%28x%5E2%29%2A%28y%5E4%29+%2B+36+%28x%5E3%29%2A%28+y+%5E5%29+
