Answer by checkley71(8403) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
MULTIPLY THE FIRST EQUATION BY 5 & THE SECOND ONE BY 6 & THEN ADD THEM:
25R-30S=65
36R+30S=240
-------------------
61R=305
R=305/61
R=5 ANSWER.
5*5-6S=13
25-6S=13
-6S=13-25
-6S=-12
S=-12/-6
S=2 ANSWER.
PROOF:
6*5+5*2=40
30+10=40
40=40
