Question 128854: Can I have some help finding the inverse function of f?
f(x)=1/(-10 x^2 + 6),text( )x>=0
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(x)=1/(-10 x^2 + 6), x>= 0
--------------
Interchange x and y to get:
x = 1/(-10y^2+6)
Invert both sides to get:
-10y^2+6 = 1/x
y^2 = [(1/x)-6]/(-10)
y^2 = [(6-(1/x))/10]
y = sqrt[(6-(1/x))/10], y>=0
