Question 126972: If Joe makes $3.00 more in Overtime than regular time and if he were to work 5 hours straight time and 4 hours overtime what would be the straight time amount. The total he earned was $66.00.
I figured out that $6.00 was the straight time amount, but I can't figure out how to make an equation out of this? Can you help make an equation out of the word problem?
