Solve for y.

2/(y + 3) + 3/(y - 4) = 5/(y + 6)

I keep getting -9/6 when the correct answer is -11/6.

It would've been NICE if you'd shown how you got your answer. Nonetheless, I'm sure you can figure
out where you went wrong.

2(y - 4)(y + 6) + 3(y + 3)(y + 6) = 5(y + 3)(y - 4) ---- Multiplying by LCD, (y + 3)(y - 4)(y + 6)

                              36y = - 66
