Create 2 different rational expressions with the following characteristics:
(a) Numerator degree 0 or 1 AND Denominator degree 1
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(a)  Numerator degree 0 AND Denominator degree 1
               .    ANSWER
(b)  Numerator degree 1 AND Denominator degree 1
               .    ANSWER
That's all.
More than simple.
This question is as flat as the floor in your room.
You should know one micron more than zero to answer it on your own.
Degree = largest exponent (single variable polynomials only)
Degree = 0 is for any constant function. We'll just have a single number up top without any x's attached.
Degree = 1 means the largest exponent is 1 and the function is linear.
An example of degree = 0 up top and degree = 1 down below would be
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, something like has the numerator and denominator with the same degree (both 1).
If you want, think of as
