What is the answer to “The shadow of a vertical tower is 40.6 m long when the angle of elevation of the sun is 34.6°. Find the height of the tower.”
elevation of the sun is 34.6°
shadow of a vertical tower is 40.6 m
tan = height of tower / length of shadow
tan 34.6 = Height of tower/ 40.6
Height of tower = tan 34.6 * 40.6
= 28 m
