Question 1167812: If you know that the vertex of a quadratic is at (3, 16) and one of the zeros is at (-1, 0)
What is the coordinate of the other zero?

Bonus: What is the equation of the quadratic created by the vertex and zero’s above

How can you tell if a parabola opens up or down? Give a minimum of two (2) ways.

-----------------------------
vertex of a quadratic is at (3, 16) and one of the zeros is at (-1, 0)
What is the coordinate of the other zero?
--------------------------

If want vertical symmetry axis,

-

FOR THE OTHER ZERO: symmetry axis x=3, is 4 units away from one of the zeros given (-1,0). The OTHER zero is at x=7. Other zero is (7,0).
