i'm not exactly sure what they mean by the coordinate of the mid-ooint of the intersection of the line ... and ...

the intersection is a point.

there is no mid-point of a point.

so, what i did was find the equation of the line intersecting with the other two lines that had a slope of -3/4, slope meaning the same as gradient.

if this is not what is meant, then please provide me with what is meant.

the only other two things i can think of would be the midpoint of the y-intercept of the 2 lines, or the average of the slopes of the original lines, so the third line can have a slope halfway between them.

the equation of the line intersecting with the other two lines having a gradient of -3/4 was y = -3/4 * x + 8.
