Assuming that 43 is not part of the problem and you mean:

c = -6
:
In almost all these kinds of problems, the 1st thing to do is get rid of the denominators. Multiply the equation by a multiple of all the denominators,
here it will be 7, obviously
:
7*c = 7(-6) =
:
-3c = -42
:
Divide both sides by -3
c =
:
c = +14
:
You can check solution by substituting 14 for c in the original equation:
14 = -6
:
-3(2) = -6
