Impossible, unless you allow the absurd notion that there can be multiple instances of the same line and call the individual instances parallel to each other. By definition, parallel lines do not intersect. They have no points in common, so it would be impossible for a line parallel to another line to pass through the midpoint of a segment of that line.

So, I don't know whether you actually were looking for a line perpendicular to the given segment, or whether the "passing through the midpoint" was just extraneous nonsense.

Either go back and repost a correctly stated problem or just submit the answer "Impossible"
