Answer by Earlsdon(6294) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve for P:
Factor a P from the the left side.
Now divide both sides by (1+t)
Note that the tax, t, would have to be expressed in decimal form.
Answer by dolly(163) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
P + P x T = C
==> P (1 + T) = C [ taking P common]
==> P = C/(1+T) [ dividing by 1+T on both sides]
Thus P = C/(1+T)
Best of luck!!!
