Question 108663: This is from the section of Connecting Exponential and Linear Data.
the model is B=150 x 1.06^t
The question is what is the intial amount and what is the yearly growth rate. I am looking at this as the same as the equation for slope intercept form (y=mx+b) so I would assume the initial value is 150 ? I have no idea how to find the yearly growth rate.
Please and thank you in advance !

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
B=150 x 1.06^t
The question is what is the intial amount and what is the yearly growth rate.
----------
B = 150 + (1+0.06)^t
-----------------
Initial amount is 150
growth rate is 6%
