Question 1085183: Solve the inequality. Write your answer in interval notation.
3(4m-3)>2(1-m)+3
m:

Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

3(4m-3) > 2(1-m)+3
3(4m)+3(-3) > 2(1)+2(-m)+3
12m-9 > 2-2m+3
12m-9 > -2m+5
12m+2m > 5+9
14m > 14
m > 1

The answer in inequality notation is m > 1

The answer in interval notation is (1, infinity)
Which means we start at the left endpoint of m = 1 and shade to the right and keep going forever (there is no boundary on the right side)
We do NOT include m = 1 in the solution set
Use the infinity symbol, in place of the word "infinity", if needed.
