Question 108498: What is the value of x in 5x-2x+9=6? Could you show me the solution?
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
What is the value of x in 5x-2x+9=6
Combine "like" terms on the left side to get:
3x+9 = 6
Divide both sides by 3 to get:
x + 3 = 2
Subtract 3 from both sides to get:
x = -1
