Question 1077452: Simplify: (a^2-8a)/(2a^2+5a-3)*(2a-1)/(a^2+2a+4)*(a+3)/(a^2-2a)

Write as a division:

Invert the second fraction and change division to multiplication

Factor a²-8a by taking out common factor "a", getting a(a-8).
Factor 2a²+5a-3 as (2a-1)(a+3).
Factor a²-2a by taking out common factor "a", getting a(a-2).
Note that a²+2a+4 does not factor.

There are two (2a-1) factors in the first denominator so write (2a-1)²

Nothing cancels, so we can only multiply the numerators and denominators,
and write the (a+3)(a+3) as (a+3)²
