Question 1076265: A test has twenty questions worth 100 points. The test consists of true/false questions worth 3 points and multiple choice questions worth 11 points each. How many multiple choice questions are on the test? Show your work.

Let n be the amount of t/f questions. Then the number of multiple choice questions is 20-n. So:
3n+11(20-n)=100
220-8n=100
8n=120
n=15
There are 15 t/f questions and 5 multiple choice questions on the test. ☺☺☺☺
