Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The derivative is 2x, and at x=1 the slope is 2.
Have a point (1,1) with slope 2.
y-y1=m(x-x1) m slope (x1,y1) point
y-1=2(x-1)
y=2x-1
