(x+x+3)/x(x+3)=1/10
(2x+3)/(x^2+3x)=1/10 now cross multiply
10(2x+3)=x^2+3x
20x+30=x^2+3x
x^2+3x-20x-30=0
x^2-17x-30=0
solve using the quadratic equation:

X=(17+-SQRT[-17^2-4*1*-30])/2*1
X=(17+-SQRT[289+120])/2
X=(17+-SQRT409)/2
X=(17+-20.22)/2
X=(17+20.22)/2
X=37.22/2
X=18.61 ANSWER.
