Hello!
No, you will only get the reciprocal(turning around of a fraction) if it's division.
For your question, I have a short way of solving it.
Normally, people will multiply 5 by 14 then multiply 21 by 25 then simplify.
If you do that you will get 70/525 then you still have to simplify this so your final answer will be 2/15. It's very long isn't it?
My solution will be, I will use cancelation. First find one numerator and one denominator that can be divided by a number. For this I found 2 pairs. 21 and 14,5 and 25. Then divide 14 and 21 by 7. The result is 2 and 3. Then divide 5 and 25 by 5. The result is 1 and 5. With that the new fractions are 1/3 and 2/5.
Now, just multiply and you will get 2/15 which is the same as our first answer.
The Final Answer is 2/15.
Hope you understand my solution!
