Assigning variables this way:
H How much grams of the higher concentration alloy to use
L How much grams of the lower concentration alloy to use

Write equations; one to account for the amount of gold in the mixture and another to account for the amount of lead in the mixture. Best to use the percents as decimal numbers.

Be sure you understand how these equations mean what they need to.

These are well ready partly for Elimination Method. Subtract corresponding members to eliminate L.

Pick either equation, substitute for H and solve for L.
