Answer by edjones(8007)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
0.3(4+2x)-0.1(x+2)=0
1.2+.6x-.1x-.2=0
.5x+1=0
.5x=-1 add -1 to both sides
x=-2 divide each side by .5
Check:
0.3(4-4)-.1(-2+2)=0...0=0
