How do these points help find the solution?

Answer by josgarithmetic(39616)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Zero Product Rule would help.
Instead of your product being equal to zero, you want to know for what x values your product is less than zero. Critical values are still -3 and +5.

Choose ANY value of x in the interval ;
and ANY value in ; and any value in .
