Question 1019839: The population of a town has been growing, following the equation P=500t+3500, where t is years after 2010. The number of restaurants in the town has been growing according to the equation R=7t+45.
Complete an equation for the number of restaurants per capita (per person)
Restaurants per capita: _________
How many restaurants per capita does this model predict for the year 2017? _______
Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hi there,
Restaurants per capita = (7t + 45)/(500t + 3500)
Restaurants per capita in 2017 (7 years)
(7(7) + 45)/(500(7) + 3500)
94/7000
= 1/75
1 restaurant per 75 capita.
Hope this helps :-)
