Question 1010235: I have a bag containing red, green, blue, and white marbles and the ratio r:g:b:w is 2:2:5:7. I have 304 marbles. How many blue marbles do I have?
Answer by fractalier(6550)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The ratio 2:2:5:7 can also be written as
2x:2x:5x:7x
That gives us 16 parts total, or
16x = 304
x = 19
so that our ratio becomes
38:38:95:133
and there are 95 blue marbles.
