Question 1005546: Hi any help would be appreatiated my question is :
What is the slope and y-intercept of y=-6x -3
When I set the y equal to "0" I got -2 so first part (-2,0)
When I set the x equal to "0" I got -3 so (0,-3)
Slope intercept I got -3-0/0-(-2)= -3/2
I dont think this is right could you please help thank you

"When I set the y equal to "0" I got -2 so first part (-2,0)"

This is the x-intercept, i.e. the point where the graph crosses the x-axis.

The slope is -6, which is the coefficient of "x" in the equation y = -6x - 3.

The y-intercept is (0, -3) which is obtained by setting x = 0, so you are correct on that part.
