Question 918349: The GCF of two numbers is 850. Neither number is divisible by the other. What is the smallest that these two numbers could be?

They both have to be multiples of 850 in order to have their GCF=850.
So multiply 850 by the smallest two integers such that neither of them
is a multiple of the other. The smallest two such integers are 2 and 3.
Therefore the smallest two integers with GCF=850 are:

850×2 = 1700 and 850×3 = 2550.
