You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I did not know, but I searched online.
BIDMAS and BODMAS are acronyms, like PEMDAS to remind students of the agreed upon conventions for order of operations.
For BIDMAS,
B stands for Brackets.
I stands for Indices, like exponents and root indices.
D and M stand for Division and Multiplication.
A and S stand for Addition and Subtraction.
For BODMAS, O stands for orders, and means the same as the I above.

For PEMDAS,
P stands for parentheses, which means the same as brackets.
E stands for exponents, which means the same as orders, or indices.

What those acronyms do not tell you is that multiplication and division have the same priority, so you do them as you find them, from left to right.
The same thing goes for addition and subtraction.
