Whoa, dude! A talking odd number! How very odd! I was telling some of my mathematician friends about it. They were all like, "Whoooaaa!" and I'm all like "Whoa!"
Before we get into a discussion of the solution, why four question marks? How much more confused is a student that asks a question that is followed by four question marks as opposed to only 3, or 2, or even 1. Would a 5th one add 20%, but the 6th one only 17%? Just curious.
There are exactly three numbers between 20 and 50 that are evenly divisible by 9. One of them is even, and one others is divisible by 5. The number you want is the one that is left.
