Factor by grouping, if possible, and check
8a3 − 2a2 + 12a − 3
(8a^3 - 2a^2) + (12a - 3)
2a^2(4a - 1) + 3(4a - 1)
Factor out the (4a-1) to get:
-------
(4a - 1)(2a^2+3)
