b. y2 + 2y / y2 + 4y + 4

(X^2 � 4) / (X � 2)
Factor where you can to get:
=[(x-2)(x+2)]/(x-2)
=(x+2)
---------------------------

b. (y^2 + 2y) / (y^2 + 4y + 4)
Factor where you can to get:
=[y(y+2)]/[(y+2)(y+2)]
=y/(y+2)
