A prime number is a natural number that has exactly two distinct natural number divisors, 1 and itself.
13 is a prime number. It has exactly two natural number divisors, 1 and 13.
16 is NOT a prime number. It has five natural number divisors, 1, 2, 4, 8, and 16.
