Question 151006: Hello and thank you in advance for your help. I have two problems im haveing a hard time trying to figure out dealing with evaluation and decimal notation.
1). evaluate 2l + 4w + 2h for l = 2.4,w = 1.3, and h = 0.8
(the total girth of a postal package)
2). 9t - 4 = 6t + 26

Question 152591: Evaluate the expression for the given value of the variable.
13 over m when m= 0.6
My daughter put .4 on her test. My sister told us that since you move the decimal over in 0.6, you have to move it in 13 to make 130, therefore making the answer 5. My daughter redid it like her teacher said and she came up with 4. Who is right.
