Question 5589: My question is:
10.440 rounded to the nearest thousandth.
would that be 10.4 or 10.44? Does it matter since 10.44 would round down to 10.4? I'm not quite sure what "thousandth" means.
Thanks

Question 53336: This is actually a simple Statistics problem but I am having trouble figuring out the exact answer. Find the arithmetic mean for the ff.data, to 2 decimal places of significance: 6,2.2,25,7,-9,10,2 and 5.9.
My answer is : 51.1/8 = 6.38 (6.38 is a wrong answer so does 6.4)
Should the exact answer be 6.3 ? or 6.40?
What if I have to round 74.4 to 2 decimal places of significance?
I will appreciate whatever help you can provide. Thank you very much.
