Question 582871: Sorry, I'm not sure I picked the right topic but I need to know how to convert 13.3 into a percent. If I am correct it is .133?? Here is the question I am trying to answer. 'What percentage of total carpet will be used in the master bedroom?" I computed that the total carpet being used throughout the house is 430 sq ft which is 47.7 sq yards. The master bedroom is 120 sq ft which is 13.3 sq yards. So, should I divide 13.3 by 47.7 or 13.3 by 100??
