Since this number has a base of 10, all we have to do is add zeroes to either the right or left and place our decimal point at the beginning of the zeroes or at the end. If the power is a positive number, to the right of your number, you would add 1 less zero than the power and place your decimal point after the last zero. In other words, if the question was , we would add THREE zeros to the right, and place our decimal point after the final zero: Since we are left with a whole number, we can omit the decimal point and any zeroes to the right of it.
