Answer by askmemath(368) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3 h 20 min
4 h 25 min
+ 5 h 35 min
1 hr = 60min
So first convert everything to minutes and then add:-)
3hrs 20mins = 3x60+20 = 180+20 = 200minutes
4hrs 25mins = 4x60+25 = 240+25 = 265minutes
5hrs 35mins = 5x60+35 = 300+35 = 335minutes
Adding all 3 200+265+335 = 800minutes
Divide by 60
13remainder20
So your final answer is 13hrs 20minutes
Another simple method would be 35+25 = 60min = 1hr
So you would get 5h 35min+4h 25min = 10hrs
And this added to the first would give you directly 13hrs 20 mins
