I am working a problem of turning 4/32% into a decimal and rounding to the nearest thousandth. I know the math works out to 12.5% but were I get lost in getting to the answer which is .00125. How do I know how many place to move the decimal back?
Maybe you're confusing with %

Here is as a decimal

    .125
32)4.000
   3 2
     80
     64
     160
     160

But it has a percent mark after it, so it is .125%. To change a percent
to a decimal you must move the decimal two places LEFT, so to
do that you get .00125.
