When you multiply something like a%5Ex and a%5Ey, you simply add the exponents to get a%5Ex%2Aa%5Ey=a%5E%28x%2By%29


So in this case, 10%5E3%2A10%5E3=10%5E%283%2B3%29=10%5E6=1000000 (which is a million)
