Question 17547: When your estimating by clustering how do you know to keep it the same or round it up? For example 8.7+3.21+3.889?
Answer by CubeyThePenguin(3113) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If the digit is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 ---> round down
If the digit is 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 --> round up
8.7 + 3.21 + 3.889
= 9 + 3 + 4
